Leslein Family Reunions (written by Joyce)
From pictures of the 1920-1940's....The Lesleins seemed to really enjoy family times and liked to goof around. Many funny stories have been passed down. Mike & Louise's ten children produced quite a number of grandchildren for them to enjoy. While the youngest (Vicky & Roy) were completing their family in the early 50's - the next generation of great-grandchildren evolved. The family grew & grew and each family became busy within their own (now most of the ten children were becoming grandparents...well maybe not the younger ones). Some cousins were closer to others. Some of us really didn't know ones who lived a distance away or whatever.
By the beginning of the 70's a handful of first cousins (now parents themselves) planned a few wonderful family reunions at some parks. Each family brought their own tableware & food. After getting the eating out of the way - the fun began! We had games for ALL ages and cute little prizes for the little ones. The most remembered in the adult category were the water balloons & the egg tosses. So much to laugh about still today. It would be fun if some of you would be active in the blog section of this website. OR when clicking on a picture that brings you to a new window...there is a place to make comments right under each picture. Google's Picasa is a web provider that I have uploaded all my pictures. It's free to join. This site offers the pictures to be purchased as prints (I have not experimented with this).
